Cryotherapy what it is and how it works
About Lesson

Cryoablation is a technique used to destroy abnormal tissue or tumors by freezing them.

It is commonly employed in the treatment of localized tumors in organs such as the liver, kidneys, lungs, and prostate.

Cryoablation works by inserting one or more cryoprobes into the tumor, which then release extremely cold gases or liquids to freeze the tissue, leading to cell death.
